Dearest 6th Grade Parents,

We are over the moon with excitement to express our heartfelt appreciation for your fantastic support of our Staff Appreciation Lunch on Thursday, April 6! It was an absolute blast - we wish you could have been there to witness the sheer delight on our staff members' faces as they indulged in the mouthwatering home-cooked meals. It was not just food, it was an entire feast of love and gratitude for our hardworking school staff!

You guys totally rock! Out of 83 families, a whopping 42 parents jumped on board to sign up for 44 slots or to donate money! Wow, what a turnout! Even with spring break looming around the corner, you guys made the impossible happen! Your generosity in volunteering your time, culinary talents, and helping out with the setup and cleanup made the day a massive success. It was a true celebration of our entire school community coming together to show our staff members some much-needed love.

Your support has had a tremendous positive impact on our staff - it's like fuel for their souls! It's the recognition of their tireless efforts and dedication that has left them feeling grateful and renewed in their mission to serve our amazing students.

Once again, we can't thank you enough for your boundless enthusiasm and dedication to making this event a roaring success. We are beyond lucky to have such a supportive and engaged community, and we are excited to keep working together to create more magical moments for our students and staff.

JANUARY

Thank you to our Chinese families for hosting the 22nd International School Lunar New Year Staff Appreciation Luncheon on January 25. This tradition started in 2001 before our current students were born. It was 100% attended and a delightful community-building event. Thank you to the families who contributed to the party and thank you to the teachers and staff who make this school a great place for our children!

The 11th-grade class hosted a Mexican food-themed staff appreciation lunch on Wednesday, December 14.

Wow! The 8th-grade families contributed to an amazing spread for the Thanksgiving Staff Appreciation Luncheon last Tuesday, November 22. SEPTEMBER

With Curriculum Night on Thursday, September 29 beginning only a few hours after the end of the school day, many teachers remained at the school until the event.
