CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)

The Bellevue School District is committed to keeping our learning community informed. The health and well-being of our students, staff, and community are a top concern. All updates from the Bellevue School District on COVID-19 can be found here: https://bsd405.org/corona-virus-covid-19/

2020 SPRING SOCIAL FUNDRAISER HAS BEEN CANCELED

It is with great disappointment that we are announcing the cancellation of the Spring Social Fundraiser. Despite our efforts to reschedule this event for May or pivot to an online auction, it is no longer feasible to move forward in either format given the situation surrounding the COVID-19 health crisis and school closure. If at all possible, items donated to the auction will be held for fundraising for the next school year. If you donated an item to the auction and prefer to have it returned to you, please contact SpringSocial@isptsa.org

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for all the generous support given to this fundraiser in the form of donated items, cash donations, volunteer time, and registrations. We had an extremely enthusiastic response to our event overall and know it would have been a success both as a fundraiser and a celebration of our International community. If your circumstances allow, please consider a donation to the ISPTSA to help raise funds that benefit students through grants to support and enrich our classrooms, student activities, and community.

If you registered for this event, you should have received a separate email from Dori Kelleran on 4/16/20 with further details about your registration. Please look in your spam folder or contact SpringSocial@isptsa.org if you cannot find this email.

Thank you again to the entire IS community for your support! We regret to have to cancel this event, but we look forward to returning to IS in the future and reconnecting as a community. In the meantime, please take care of yourselves and your families.

With gratitude,
Your ISPTSA Spring Social Committee

PTSA MEMBERSHIP CREATES COMMUNITY - JOIN US AND ENJOY THE BENEFITS!
Thank you to the almost 486 parents and teachers that have joined ISPTSA. Our goal is 586 members for 100% full school membership, and we are over 80% there, so become a community supporter. Please Join Us!

Below is our current PTSA membership listed by grades. The percentages indicate the number of students supported by PTSA members in each grade. A bit more membership support in each grade would be amazing! Membership in PTA advocates for all of our students—at the administration level, the district level, and the state level.

    • Grade 6: 73% ?? 78%
    • Grade 7: 60% ?? 68%
    • Grade 8: 48% ?? 52%
    • Grade 9: 60% ?? 66%
    • Grade 10: 46% ?? 49%
    • Grade 11: 65% ?? 66%
    • Grade 12: 58% ?? same

Students can join too—everybody counts toward full school membership. Did you know we have more than 10 students as members? Students can attend the PTSA legislative assembly, be on the ISPTSA grants committee, and vote on our budget at general membership meetings.

We have nearly 100% teacher/staff participation—thank your students' teachers for supporting ISPTSA!

For those of you that still want to be a part of the ISPTSA community, we welcome you and hope you will still join us. You can still join, click here!

Please contact  membership@isptsa.org with any questions.

TLDR? (Too Long; Didn't Read)

With recommendations from several other Bellevue schools and sports teams, the ISPTSA uses the opt-in service via Remind.com to send day-before reminder texts for events.

Simply sign up here and provide your phone number to receive texts. There's no need to download the app, unless you prefer to, and you can leave the service anytime, if you don't find it useful.

Sample text: "PTSA General Meeting & Pasta Dinner, tomorrow night 10/10 at 6:00pm. See you there!" would be scheduled to go out on 10/9 at 10:00 AM.
