International School's very own Titan Robotics Club is holding 3 interest meetings coming up soon! If you're interested in working in a team and competing at high-stakes tournaments to potentially qualify for regional or nationals, robotics might be the place for you! We're looking for engineers and programmers, but also students who love media and design, business, and outreach! If you or your student are interested in learning more about our programs, come to a session listed below:

International will be holding its Curriculum Night on Thursday, September 18 from 6:30 – 8:30. We will begin with a short whole-group welcome in the Main Gym from 6:30 – 6:45 followed by a rotation of classes that will follow your student’s schedule. Each “class” will be 10 minutes. You will want to print out and bring your student's schedule to this night. This will not be a time for teachers to have conversations about individual students, but is an opportunity to meet your student’s teachers and to hear what your student will be learning this year.

REFLECTIONS THEME FOR 2025–2026:

“I BELONG!”

The National PTA has announced the 2025–2026 Reflections theme: “I belong!”

Reflections is a national PTA arts program where students create original works in visual art, music, photography, film, dance, or literature. This theme invites students to express where they feel connection, identity, and community.

SENIOR WINTER FUNDRAISER

The Senior Class is selling poinsettias, garlands and wreaths for their Holiday Fundraising. These beautiful creations are from Squak Mountain Nursery in Issaquah. All proceeds and donations will go toward supporting the Senior Class of 2026's activities in the spring, including all of the amazing activities that take place around graduation. You can also purchase these as a gift for teachers or staff. Follow link for details.


The deadline for orders and payments will be Friday, October 31st. The pick-up date will be December 1st at IS and more detailed pick-up instructions will follow.

ISPTSA GRANT INFO & APPLICATION

The goal of ISPTSA Grants is to support programs and activities that enhance and supplement student learning experiences while building community. All community members including teachers and staff, parents and students are eligible to submit a grant request.
 
Important Dates
Semester 1 deadline for grant applications: Friday, October 3, 2025.
Semester 1 date for ISPTSA Board presentation of grants that the committee proposes for funding: October 21, 2025.
 
Semester 2 deadline for grant applications: Friday, January 9, 2026.
Semester 2 date for ISPTSA Board presentation of grants that the committee proposes for funding: January 20, 2026.

Please fill in all the relevant information in the grant application form: 2025-2026 Grant Application and save a copy to get the approval of the department head/club president.
